This week on Zero Punctuation: Yahtzee goes in the zone to nuke S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky or as he calls it ESS-TEE-AY-ELL-KAY-EE-ARR clear sky. As always, coarse language ahead.
GSC Game World has announced that STALKER: Clear Sky, the prequel to last year’s survival shooter STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, has gone gold and is set for worldwide release on September 5th, 2008. A slight delay after its initial August 29th date.
Clear Sky takes place in 2011, and puts players in control of a mercenary stalker as you navigate both new and old environments in a story set before the events of the original game. Clear Sky will be compatible with DirectX 8-10, and will introduce a fast-travel feature, dynamic day-night transitions, weather effects, and an expanded multiplayer mode for up to 32 players, reports 1UP.
