Story:

In ancient times, mysterious artifacts referred to as Remnants were discovered all over the world. People used these objects for their awesome powers — a choice that eventually began to cause a rift in the world’s balance. Equality was replaced by those who ruled and those who were ruled over. War was inevitable. A thousand years later is when this story begins…

Rush lives with his sister Irina on secluded Eulam Island, far from the power struggles for Remnants that are occurring back on the mainland. However, this peaceful life is shattered when his sister is suddenly kidnapped by a mysterious group of soldiers right before his eyes. He immediately sets off after them, unaware of the evils of the outside world but determined to find his sister at any cost.

Key Features of The Last Remnant include:

* Experience groundbreaking graphics, only possible on next-generation platforms, that bring the intensity of gameplay to an entirely new level
* Uncover the mystery of the Remnants, powerful artifacts from an ancient civilization that are scattered around the world and stand as they were a millennia ago
* Navigate a massive battlefield while surrounded by countless foes and friends
* Immerse in exhilarating, large-scale battles through a never-before-seen battle command system

StarCraft 2 opening cinematic teaser from BlizzCon 2008

StarCraft 2 opening cinematic screenshot

StarCraft II’s opening cinematic set the BlizzCon 2008 crowd afire when Blizzard unveiled a teaser video of the intro to their highly anticipated RTS sequel. Even though the scene was simply a teaser, and not the entire sequence.

But once again Blizzard impresses with some mighty fine CG that is quite simply as top-notch as you can get. Although the opening cinematic isn’t as action packed as I thought it would be, given that this is StarCraft II. But regardless, the teaser video definitely has a very cool, Aliens-esque cinematic feel to it that is definitely worth checking out. And fans will be in for a treat.

First TGS 08 videos for Soul Eater: Monotone Princess for Wii

Here is some new videos for Soul Eater: Monotone Princess for the Wii from TGS 08, that includes gameplay footage as well as cinema scenes.

The game is based off the anime of the same name. What’s interesting is that Square Enix was the creator of the anime in Japan and is, naturally, developing this new Wii title.

It looks like a standard action game if you ask me, but here some more videos showing off new footage of the game in action.
