Pack up and get ready to move out! Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq:ATVI) announced plans today to release two waves of Call of Duty(R) 3 multiplayer maps after the holidays: the Bonus Map (free) and the Valor Map Pack (800 Microsoft points). The Bonus Map, named “Champs,” will take players to Port Royal de Champs, France for classic Call of Duty infantry-based combat that’s great for small to medium-sized online games. The Valor Map Pack will contain five new multiplayer maps that will take players through a maze of French locales that serve up settings primed for intense close-quarters action, whether via online, split-screen or System Link play.

To sum it all up, two map packs after the holidays. One is a free map and the other is a 800 point map pack with five new maps, can someone say the price is to high?

Gametrailers.com posted this nice video showing Call of Duty 3 across 3 consoles(Ps3, Wii, 360). Now if my eyes don’t deceive me I say that the xbox 360 version looks the best graphically with PS3 coming in second and Wii in dead last.

Activision just sent me a copy of Call of Duty 3! Thanks alot to Activision’s John Rafacz and expect a review of it sometime next week. For this weekend the long awaited(Stop Sending me E-mails!!.lol) Viva Pinata Review will be posted.

I loved Call of Duty 2(and still do) and I’m excited to get my hands on part 3.

Even though Infinity Ward is not making this edition, I have all the faith in the world in Treyarch to deliver. One of the best things I have liked so far was that now over LIVE multiplayer you can now drive vehicles. Throw in a “Condemned” hand-to-hand combat system and Call of Duty 3 looks like it will be a hot holiday product this winter.
