Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst closing down servers

Clumsyorchid posted that Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst will stop selling Hunter’s licenses, after Dec 6th.  If you have ever paid and played, on the offical servers, you will be able to log in and play for free after January 9th 2008, until March 31st 2008.

Reasons for closure include:

  • The game not making money. The only reason its been up so long is because of Phantasy Star Universe
  • Billing issues and timeouts, apparently SEGA’s team working on it, don’t know how to fix it. Whats new?
