Full Auto2 – Teaser Trailer

Source: seganerds.com

I personally think that Full Auto is still one of the best Xbox 360 games to date and is one of the most under-rated games on the system. So if you are like me, you will be gagging for any information on Sega’s next installment. Still only due out on the PS3, which for 360 nuts is a shame, the game boasts more of the same, but bigger explosions, better effects, faster gameplay and a neat death-match mode (not shown in video).

As far as I am aware, the video shown here does not show actual footage, but offers a great taste of what to expect from the game – as all good ‘teasers’ should.

Enjoy.

Remember this call of duty is not being made by the developers of Call of duty 2(Infinity Ward)and I’m curious to see if Treyarch can stand up to the task.

Xbox 360 plays Cops and Robbers in Europe

Source: videogamesblogger.com

Xbox 360 Console and Pro Evolution Soccer 6 Bundle‘Cops and Robbers’, created by McCann Erickson, San Francisco and directed by rising Australian director, Garth Davis, features three ‘robbers’ wearing ski masks running away from ‘cops’, holding what looks like a bag of stolen goods. They try to evade the cops by scaling the rooftops of buildings, taking desperate, gravity-defying leaps from buildings to window ledges and into a waiting getaway car. A car chase ensues but eventually it’s all over as the cops ‘win’ and close in on the ‘robbers’.

But there’s a twist to the story as the chase is revealed to be just a mischievous game of ‘cops and robbers’ amongst friends who immediately start the countdown to begin another game.

The ad (a 60 second and a 30 second spot) will be shown across TV and Cinema screens throughout Europe from 23rd September through to the Christmas period. Filmed on location in Bucharest, the ‘cops and robbers’ spot sees real-life action with fabulous stunt car chases and Parkour athletes putting in elegant and jaw-dropping performances. One ‘robber’ is played by French stuntman, martial artist & movie star Cyrille Rafaelli, who has worked in films with directors such as Luc Besson and starred in breakout Parkour movie Banlieu 13. Cyrille carries out the daring roof-top stunt as the ‘robbers’ attempt to get away from the ‘cops’. The other ‘robber’, Ilya, a rising star in Cyrille’s famous Parkour troop does the window ledge stunt.

“We wanted to show how Xbox 360 lets you play in unexpected, new ways and remind us of how we feel when we’re really having fun with our friends,†said Richard Teversham, EMEA Director of Marketing and Platform at Xbox. “This campaign really brings out the sociability of Xbox 360 and taps into the playfulness that we all have in us. With Xbox 360 you get all the exhilaration and emotion that a simple game of Cops and Robbers inspires – but now that fun’s evolved into high definition, next generation fun backed up with a fantastic array of more than 160 games to play by the end of the year.â€

Halo movie put on hold

Source: videogamesblogger.com

The Halo Graphic NovelPeter Jackson’s Wingnut films confirmed yesterday what many fans felt was inevitable: “As was previously confirmed, we deeply regret that both Universal and Fox did not choose to move forward with financing the Halo film under the original terms of the agreement,” it stated. “At this time Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, along with their partner, Microsoft, have mutually agreed to postpone making a feature film based on the Halo video game universe until we can fulfill the promise we made to millions of Halo fans throughout the world that we would settle for no less than bringing a first class film to the big screen.

We are fully supportive of Director Neill Blomkamp’s vision of the film. Neill is a tremendously gifted filmmaker and his preliminary work on Halo is truly awe-inspiring. While it will undoubtedly take a little longer for Halo to reach the big screen, we are confident that the final feature film will be well worth the wait.” Sad faces all around :( Press release via 1UP.

Jackie Chan should play Chun-Li in the new Street Fighter movie!

Source: videogamesblogger.com

Street Fighter -- Collector\'s EditionCapcom and Hyde Park Entertainment have decided to restart the Street Fighter movie series again, yes we’re talking about the live-action movie from 1994 that starred martial-artist Jean-Claude van Damme and singer/actress Kylie Minogue. This time they’re focusing on Chun Li. Justin Marks (Voltron) scripts and the movie is set for a 2008 release for the 20th Anniversary of the game.

Who could play Chun-Li? This leads us to City Hunter, an extremely silly comedy about a self-indulgent private investigator (Jackie Chan) who winds up on a cruise ship full of rich patrons, gorgeous women, murderous terrorists, and scarce food. The following scene morphs Jackie Chan’s character, Ryu, into just about any Street Fighter… so don’t get too excited over Chun-Li’s legs, you guys.

Konami reprints Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner for $20 + ZOE3 coming?

Source: videogamesblogger.com

Zone of the Enders: The 2nd RunnerYou can now get Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner again as a reprint from Konami.com for just $19.99.

Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner was made by Konami for the PS2 in 2003. The sequel to Zone of the Enders, the game was produced by Hideo Kojima. The game is based around mecha combat. All mecha were designed by Yoji Shinkawa, the character and mechanical designer for the Metal Gear Solid series. Take a look at the intro:

That looked great, but I hear you ask: Is ZOE3 coming?

About Zone of the Enders 3 for PS3, Mr. Kojima had this to say: “I want to make it, but I’m so busy with MGS4 that I have to focus on that right now.”

And apparently the October Issue of PSM Magazine revealed that Hideo Kojima has been working on a new next gen title, Zone of the Enders 3. Not much was said about the game but it is confirmed to be a sequel to ZOE2, it will also include Online Play, ‘Mind-Bending’ visuals and a deep plot. More information about the game will be revealed in the November issue of PSM Magazine.

Thanks to Wario64 for the tip.

Source: videogamesblogger.com

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Limited Edition Camouflage color PSP Premium Package
Remember those colored PSP variations Sony showed a while back? Well the most unlikely of the bunch, the cameo-colors PSP is being released in Japan on December 22! It comes in two PSP bundles that include Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, fancy pins, a nice PSP case, and more…

Each package comes with a Camouflage PSP, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, and special case with a strap.
* The Premium Package (shown above) will be released for 39,690 yen ($248/€195/£130).
* The KonamiStyle Package (shown below) which has genuine snakeskin for the case and strap, will cost 29,190 yen ($338/€265/£177).

The American release date of Portable Ops seems to be either Tuesday December 5 or 12, 2006.

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Limited Edition Camouflage color PSP KonamiStyle Package
While we can’t buy this limited edition outside of Japan, we still have the last laugh as the packages are missing a memory stick and GPS add-on, both of which Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops uses. Yeah, ok, I’m still not laughing, maybe Japan did get the better deal. Oh well, that’s the life of an importer. Via Elektriq
